Hursey Montessori's school-wide goal this year is to decrease school-wide chronic absenteeism. Moreover, we want to increase full day attendance among all our students and engage our families to help our school accomplish this collaboratively. The Hursey Attendance Team would love to hear from you with your ideas on some ways you think we can recognize improved attendance school-wide, class-to-class, as well as individual attendance successes. For example in the month of October we have engaged our families and classes with a look-out for classes with no tardies, and individual perfect attendance- treats will be provided to celebrate the end of the month accomplishments. The attendance team believes that there are a ton of ways we can help reinforce good attendance throughout our school and with our families all through this school year.
